Graduation ceremony / end of the year activities of Holy Angels Nursery and Primary school is a time we get together to celebrate our young ones, their achievements, their perseverance and their successes as they grow up.


Holy Angel's graduation ceremony this year was a huge success and it was the 22nd graduation ceremony of this noble citadel of learning. The celebration took place on the 30th of June 2013 and it began with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Samuel Nwadike the chaplain at the Novitiate chapel. Sixty-seven pupils received their first Holy Communion during the Mc1SS on that great day.


Among those that graced the occasion were, the Vicar general of the Congregation, Rev. Sr. Mary Agnita Maduka, the Congregational Education coordinator in the person of Sr. Mary Jerome Obiorah. The Regional Superior of Archbishop Charles Heerey Region, Sr. Mary Anthoninus Ezeobiagwu and the Regional Vicar Sr. Mary Prudentiana Ifedigbo, the complex coordinator Sr. Mary Gloria Iloka was also in attendance. In fact, their presence that very day gave color to the celebration.


Engineer Kenneth Odezulu was the chairman of the occasion and he was flanked by other members of the high table. One hundred and forty pupils graduated that very day, Eighty three of them were the Nursery graduands and fifty eight were primary graduands. The children exhibited their variety shows and entertained the public. The activities were as follows: welcome/fare well songs, welcome address which was read by little Miss Okafor Miracle and Miss Onah Arnarachi, fare well speech by the primary graduands during which they presented their gift of a set of computer to the school in appreciation for what the school achieved in them. There was cutting of the graduation cake by the graduands and others that flanked them.


The children demonstrated their worth during the debate performed by both the Nursery and Primary graduands respectively. The Primary five children had table discussion on the topic   "Same Sex Marriage to be discouraged" It was a thoughtful discussion. Other activities included fashion parade by the Nursery and Primary One pupils. Drama titled "Timbers and Calibers", Exhibition of Brides and Bridegrooms, Opera exhibition and so on. After this, presentation of gifts/Award to the best pupils and teachers took place.


Mmesoma Okafor was the best graduating pupil for 2013 in common entrance Examination and Igbo language.

Mbudimma Chibuike, best in Mathematics.
Chukwurah Obinna, best in English language.
Eze Chinemeogo, best in science and diction.
Enuka nedinso, best behaved.

Chukwu Chinecherem, the neatest.

The best teacher for the year was Miss Uchenna Okeke for the primary section and Mrs. Bennedeth Achebe for the Nursery section. One week after the graduation Sixty- nine pupils received the sacrament of confirmation, what a joyful event! We thank God who made everything possible this year.


The graduation ceremony came to a successful end at about 5:30 Pill, with a closing prayer
said by the chairman of the occasion, Engineer Kenneth Odezulu.
